Dash heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
question: 2007 Fleetwood Providence 40X dash heating does not heat. Air conditioning works well as do all other features, i.e., AC on/off button, air intake selector button. Temperature control knob moves fine but temperature never changes. Is there a fuse somewhere that I'm missing or something else?

You might check for a shut off valve in the water line going into the heater. Don't know which chassis you have. If rear engine the valve may be nearer the engine than the heater.

Getting good dash heat on many RV's is a challenge--checking for a valve on the coolant line is a great idea; some dash air units respond to keeping the selector on "max cool" and the temp select on hot--this closes the door to outside air so inside air is heated and recirculated.

Simple answer...all valves were open and operating properly. Problem was isolated to the cable. plastic casing on the console was broken allowing the cable to travel without opening the baffles. secured the cable. now heat is working properly.
