Dash separation
Being a newbie, I don't know if I'm doing this right, but here goes:
I have a 2004 Bounder 35E that now has 50,000 miles on it. The plastic structure of the dash seems to be coming loose and shaking a lot. Has anyone else experienced this type problem that can share with me what they did for it?

Jim and Gina,
Lots of problems of dash separation from the side walls of RV:
Open the outside front cap hatch (area you add oil or trans fluid)
Look to the right and left and inspect the screws that attach the fire wall to the sides of RV. These are the same screws that secure dash. If they are loose then tighten with larger and harder stainless screws. If they are broken, you must align the holes in side wall with new larger diameter screws and reattach. These screws are under tremendous torque and pressure when traveling and are known to snap off.

Hi Lou,
That is exactly what I did to prevent future problems.

This is how I fixed mine.... There is a flange on the top just like the one you see on the bottom bolted to the floor and dash. It hasn't move now for two years... no more bounce and no more squeek.
