Just got my appointment scheduled for July 23rd. Anyone else going to be there around that time? Any recommendations for what to do in Decatur?

Love the service center folks! Other than the Fleetwood tour and a trip to the Fleetwood store, there is really not much to do in Decatur !

Great place for service, they are the best. We took a day and visited the Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg Museum in Auburn Indiana. As I recall it's about 45 min north of Ft. Wayne. There are actually 2 museums, both worthy of a visit. Neat history.

Be sure to find out how long they will keep your MH. I was planning on a couple of days in a motel...until they told me they'd have it two weeks, then I drove the toad 750 miles home.

They do have a campground attached to the service center, so at the end of each day they return your MH to your site number. I have seen people live in their MH for more than a week.

My start date July 28. Dealer proved to be useless and that's according to Fleetwood.

Hopefully I am gone by then. If not I will have a cold beverage ready for you. It really sucks that people have to drive to Service Centers to get work completed properly.

I am planning on a factory tour on the 23rd, would love to meet up if we get the chance.

My coach is getting picked up the same time as yours and I plan on staying in the campground.

was there for a week lots of second hand stores and antiques also 25 miles to amish town good eating also

Starting to finalize travel plans and things to do. I know there is an online store for shirts, mugs, etc. Is there a store at the factory? I will be arriving on Sunday the 20th.

Edit: just read an earlier post that there is a store. So my new question is does it have a better/bigger selection than the online store?

There is a parts store that sells logo items and more. It is not at the factory, it is in a separate building down the street from the service center. There are 3 main buildings: 1. The service facility/campground 2. The factory/HQ which is a few miles away, and 3. The parts store which, again, is about 1 mile down the street from the service facility.

If you stay over night make sure you have your fresh water tank full, you will get only electric hookup. There are two dump stations outside of the service center. Nice people to work with, well the team that I had.
