Discovery 2 Questions Please

1. Is there a way to tighten up the rear view mirrors? My drivers mirror frame moves in the wind!

2. Best way to re&re the lug nut covers so I can finish polishing my wheels?

Thanks/Brian

You might find some Allen head screws holding frame to arm that might be loose. The nut covers should just pull off. If you go to the nearest napa parts store or truck stop you can get plyers to remove covers as they just press on the nuts.

What year Discovery? My 07 Discovery has a loose Drivers side mirror. Fleetwood screwed it in. I'm pulling screws and thru bolting.

Careful when removing the cover over your allen bolts, broke one of mine off when I tighten up my mirrors, was just a cheap chrome painted piece of plastic.

you guys check the condition of the srews or bolts under those caps. Looks like that's where it started to corrode, under those caps.

Just sent Velvac an email asking if last years price is the same on those arms (fingers crossed).

Check your wheels before polishing. Mine have a finish and the manual says not to polish them.
