Discovery 40G

Thinking of trading up to this model. Any comments on the floor plan? It looks like it will work for us better than what we have now. Going to look at one this week. Thanks.

What year and engine is it? We are camping in one right now with 3 adults and 2 kids and like it a lot. Rides great, few minor problems but nothing that would make me stay away. We have the 380 HP ISC engine and it seems to have enough power. Do you have any specific questions?

I do like the floorplan (I'd trade ours for it anyday!) but I'd have a hard time buying a 40G rather than a 42A. Obviously there's a price difference but I think the 1 1/2 baths and actual 2nd bedroom (although the 40G is pretty good for that too compared to most 'bunk in the hallway' floorplan), 2 sofas (and sitting positions) and much larger roadside window on the 42A more than makes up for it. I do think the TV location on the 40G is better and I kind of prefer the master layout on the 40G but those are both very low compared to the rest).
