Discovery heating differences
Hey everyone,
I am confused. The temp sensor near the light control panel in the master of our 2020 Discovery 40g reads 79deg and the Mira setting is 69deg for Rear. Why is my Aquahot still blowing heat out of the radiator at the foot of the bed and below the washer/dryer? It appears my heat is not following my heat preset in Mira. Floor heat is also on but again, would expect thermostat to turn off radiator aqua source. I shutoff Aquahot diesel and waited until all radiators stopped blowing and then set front heat level above ambient and the rear and mid started blowing. Any suggestions?

Since you seem to be having a problem, you need to “function test” the whole system.
Don’t have any thermostats calling for heat (including basement thermostat) and don’t have any other heat sources turned on.
Fire up the Aqua Hot on diesel. When heated up, turn the front thermostat up enough to call for heat and see where heat comes out. I think there should be 3 locations producing heat. Then turn that thermostat down, be sure heat fans stop, then turn up the rear thermostat and check for heat coming out of only two heaters.
Then turn the rear thermostat off, be sure fans stop, go to the basement to turn that thermostat up to see that heat comes out the basement heater only, not up in the living area.
There could be a plumbing or wiring mistake in the system.
On my 2019 40M, either the plumbing of the basement heater had to be changed or the wiring of the basement thermostat had to be changed to produce basement heat. Having it plumbed and wired the way factory drawings showed, produced no heat. Sometimes they just get it wrong.

Resolved, maybe?
Thank you for the suggestion. I shut Aquahot off, the primary AqueHot Diesel switch in Mira and from front and rear zones. Blowers continued in the rear. I bumped up the desired temp for rear beyond the current sensor reading and then back down and they went off as I past the current temp. It appears the system has a software bug of sorts and stopped watching that temp sensor. Seemed to be ok for the rest of the evening. I have not yet checked the basement, not even sure where the radiator is down there. I will do that today as it will drop to 22deg tonight and I am unwinterized already.

You may need to contact Firefly for a software update... On mine and some others I have heard from with our year coaches, there is a software update available from Firefly that may take care of your problem.
I had the same issue with my coach with the fans continuing to run after the setpoint was reached in the front zone of my coach. It was something about the software getting caught in some sort of circular routine that kept the blowers and heat running.
Unfortunately, it may cost you $75.00 for the update since you are outside the warranty period. That's what it cost me.
Reach out to Firefly, and they will verify your software version and will determine if you need the update. They will email you the file, you transfer it to a USB drive and plug it into the system for the upgrade to take place. It took care of my issue...
