Keep in touch. I have been working out the bugs on an 07 39V with full slide. Deb and I swapped out coolling unit on the Norcold. Next big project will be fogged window DIY.
Have to take a FEW days off to get the house painted!

Most definitely because I have found the manuals very lacking and have been doing a lot of trial and error. There are also several features the previous owners added that I am working through because there are no manuals. The big headache was a switch on the dash that wasn't factory and after a few days of trying to figure out what it did and no success, I decided to trace out the wiring. It turns out there is nothing hooked to the switch! Not sure why anyone would cut into their dash to install a switch hooked to nothing unless it was something they took out when they sold it.
I was also looking at the 39V but the S came along and had all the required stuff at the right price. I really preferred the openess of the V since I will be full timing in it as a home away from home for a few years.

Where did you buy and what difficulty did you have? We are thinking about the purchase and would appreciate any guidance.

And how about a "Discovery" prefix? The Bounder people have one....

Let's not just include late models!! Our old model 02' has been a fantastic machine for us. We part time in it 5 months out of the year and just winterized it. We put just over 4500 miles on it this year. At 87,000 miles on it she purrrrs like a kitten.

We purchased a 2006 Discovery 39S just a few weeks ago. Its a huge upgrade for us. I am disappointed in the rubber roof , but really, really like everything else.

My 2006 Discovery doesn't have a rubber roof. It's a composite material that goes by the name of Royal Tuff Ply. It's not a smooth covering and it's thicker than the EPDM rubber roofs.
