Discovery LXE Generator Start Switch

Recently had my ONAN/Cummins generator rotor/stator replaced under warranty. They also replaced the main board. Since this service the manual switch on the dash will not start the generator but it will stop the generator if it is started by other means. Might anyone know the wire routing of this switch? Puzzled how it could stop but not start unless it is actually a 3 pole switch and the start pole was missed when the wireing harnesses were reconnection somewhere.

On the genset, if you look at it from where the switch is outside. On the opposite side (either back left corner or the front left corner) depending on orientation, you will see a flat 6 pin connector. Check that plug and verify all pins are seated properly.

Thanks Bobby. All looks good on that connector and wire as far as I can follow. Upon further inspection the rear bedroom switch is also non-operable. I think I need to pull the cover, there must be something not connected. They did replace the main box, he called it the invertor which puzzles me as the 12v change happens elsewhere. Perhaps something to do with basic generator power production.

Upon further inspection bad contact in the remote control interface plug. The Start pin "C" was pushed out of the plug slightly. I put a little more bend in the retaining tab and reinserted. All working fine now! Thanks for the tip Bobby.
