Discovery: Power Steering Fluid

When turning in my 2000 Fleetwood Discovery, it sounds as if the power steering fluid is low. Where is the reservoir located to check the fluid? What type of fluid is required if it is low?

Also, is this reservoir connected with the leveling system?
Do the slide outs take hydraulic fluid as well and where is the fill for that if so?

Thank you

The reservoir for the power steering and brake boost is located aft of the rear radiator. I think the specifications for the fluid is Dexron III ATF.Your leveling system us probably made by Power Gear. That reservoir is usually located on the curb side well back to the back of the coach. Look in the aft compartment. It also has a specification of Dexron III ATF I think.Fleetwood stopped using hyrdaulic slides ib 1998 I think. I believe your slides are electric. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the help, seems like every time I get in or use something, I find another problem. Fridge doesn't get very cold on hot days, freezer works fine, toilet has a leak that appears on the floor at times, may be leaking on top of the black tank as well, black tank sensor reads over half full when it has been emptied, san t flush is clogged, small leak through the slide ceiling when it is extended, water heater wont fire on propane and I blew an ignition fuse on the highway doing 65 and it shut off the engine completely. I am learning a lot about these things in a short amount of time.
