Dometic Refrigerator Issues-

I have a Dometic Elite Side by Side. Their are differences between the top shelves of the unit and the bottom shelves. The refrigerator will be 32 on the top shelf and 42 on the bottom self, I have a duel fan in the refrigerator. The freezer seems to do the same. The top shelf of the freezer is at 0 to 5. But the bottom of the freezer is at 32. The freezer has an ice maker. Any ideas what might be causing the lower shelves to be much higher temp then the top shelves.

Have you checked that the boiler on the back isn't in contact with the refrigerator back? Perhaps some aluminum foil between the boiler and the fridge back. I'd think a fan in the box would even out temps.

When we had our Norcold in our Revolution, we had a similar problem. I'm assuming the Dometic and Norcold are similar in construction.

You may have checked this (or it may not apply to a Dometic). If the thermistor on the cooling fins in the refrigerator section is not in the correct position, you'll get poor cooling.

Another thing to check is the integrity of the door seals. They can leak out a lot of your cool air which is replaced with warmer room air.

Pull out your Dometic manual to see how to check both of these. You can also google it or call Dometic for info.

Hope this helps and good luck to you!

How much room do you have for air circulation?
