Driver seat abused by slideout

I recently learned the hard way that my slide out motor is strong enough to damage my drivers' seat. I carelessly left my drivers seat reclined while moving my slide out in. As a result, my drivers seat now looks like the leaning tower of Pisa. The left side of the seat is couple of inches higher than the right side. Not a debilitating problem but something I would like to fix.

Anyone one have a similar experience?

On my Ventana, when you go to move the front slides a warning starts playing to remind you to check the seats and for other obstacles.

Our Kounty Star would rip the seat out if you didn't move it forward.

Hope your damage is easily fixed, could be pricey if the pedestal was damaged.

Damaged the slide trim on mine forgetting to put the seat far enough forward. Did catch it in time to prevent damaging the chair.

Did it this weekend. Just popped the trim off. I'll put it back up with the pin nailer.

Have not done it, yet... But can sure see how it would occur. I try tone sure and watch the seat each time the slide comes in.

Yeppppppp, mw too, owner for 3 weeks. On first trip and was not aware how the slide would scrub the back top edge of seat. I am told that an upholstery shop can repair it easily, altho I have not done that yet. I blame it on my lack of knowledge when first owning RV, since there are around 10,000 items to check each time, reckon I only made it to 7500, seat and slide must have been 7501 .

I haven't done this. I do keep a check list and I use it all the time.
I guess as a pilot in the USAF, we used check lists all the time. It was a good habit to develop.

I also have learned the hard way with the upper cabinet door above salon tv on the rear of the curb slide out, I was lucky and it just popped the handle of the screws with no damage.

I put a piece of Velcro over the switch that reminds me to move seat forward.

It amazes me that a "reputable" motorhome company wouldn't put a squat switch in the seat back to prevent the slide from moving until the seatback was tilted forward.

Almost done it a few times already.

I did it too. Scuffed the seat and a slight little bend to it as well.
