Dry rot in a 2007 Fleetwood Regal 325rk

We have just sold our 27.5 Arctic Fox 5th wheel and have purchased a 2007 Regal 325RK.. When we were looking over the unit we noticed that on one side of the unit where the fender skirts are there was braces from the stucture to the bottom of the fender skirts and on the other side they were missing and that caused the calking to come away between the skirt and the side of the unit. It didn't look like a big deal and I am fairly handy and said to the dealer that I could not believe the Pdi on the unit had missed this from new but I would just build them and install them myself...no big deal until I went under the unit ( after the purchase) and noticed that where I would fasten the braces to the structure it seems that it has "Dry Rot" I took a meat fork and pushed it into the beam about 1/2 ". We have a complete 30 day warrantee on the used unit and will attempt to deal with the dealer But I am wondering if any one else that own's one of these units has had this problem...would appreciate an email to let me know how extensive this could be. Also during the purchase pre check I noticed that the roof had been resealed and asked why and the answer was that the caulking had started to fade and showed minor cracks so the previous owner had it resealed for the cost of $ 1000 but there was no leakage or damage done it was just a maintenance deal...should I worry that the roof has dry rot too....thanks in advance Duane

Yes, I'd be worried!! And good luck with the dealer as the "warranty" probably doesn't cover dry rot or delamination. After all, you did see the repair signs during the inspection. By saying you'd fix it yourself you may not have any chance of getting them to do anything nor have a legal "leg" to stand on.
Lets hope the dealer does right by you. Let us know what's happening!!

Run from what? OP says he bought the unit and noticed the damage while on the lot before he made the deal. He knew there was a problem (just not how much of a problem) and still bought it.
Should have run when he noticed the damage!!
