Eagle owners / Storage bay Pantograph mechanisms

One of my pie in the sky projects would be to remove the air springs on my Dream and replace the hinges with the Pantograph mechanisms that were on the Eagles.

There is one that comes to the track, next time I see him I want to take a close look at the differences between his doors and mine. The track will not open until spring.

If it is a matter of swapping the parts I'm in, I'll be call RV salvage yards in a minute. Or, maybe they are still available through Fleetwood?

Would someone take some good pictures of both the door and the chassis mount locations?

I need to see the mount locations on both the doors and the storage compartments.

I would also like a close up of the edge profile of the door. I'm hoping the doors are the same for both style hinges and that all I have to do is remove the overhead hings and add the pantograph hing on the same doors.

What I do notice right away is that you have two latch handles for each door while I only have one. That latch handle is attached to two latch mechanisms on the door though, so hope is not lost yet.

Beautiful coach.

Nice weather, the polar vortex is coming back the beginning of next week.

FormerBoater, beautifully kept coach. Boooo, to the polar vortex, we live in the FL. Panhandle I don't know if my palm trees can take another round of twenty degree weather.

Glenn,

I will take some close-ups for you now that I know what you need.

Will likely be early next week before I can take the shots.

No problem this would be a summer project, but would like to do the research now, and if it looks promising start to look for salvage parts.

Good deal, I also got the ones from the American Coach Forum on Yahoo.

It looks like they are transferable.

I need shots of the top edge of the door, and how the hinges are attached to the door. Those will be hard to get, maybe have a volunteer get in the storage bay and close the door half way????????

Also some shots of the latch, they look the same.
