"EcoPro" Coatings

Dear Folks:

I am taking delivery on my Bounder Classic this Friday. My dealer is trying to sell me on an EcoPro coating on the outside of the coach, and an EcoPro treatment inside the coach.

When I buy cars, I never get this stuff because I understand that the dealers make huge profit on them, and they usually don't really help things. But my RV will be parked outside, whether I'm in it or not, and so I am wondering about just getting the outside coating as an extra measure to protect its finish.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these products (interior or exterior)? Is it a waste of money?

Thanks.

Bernie

1) How much is it?
2) Who makes the product
3) What is the guaranty/warranty
4.) Who does the warranty work?

Do a search on this site and you will find similar questions to yours.

Most people say the dealer is just selling snake oil and it isn't worth the price and I agree. It is a good mark up for the dealer but doesn't last long.

I would suggest applying Rejex to the coach after you get it. You can do it yourself and save a lot of money.

FWIW
I can recommend Mousefree for two functions.
1. Keeps critters out
2. Undercoating to keep the underside of the chassis from corroding.
Some dealers can apply it, I've now applied it myself to 3 coaches I've owned. If the coach was delivered to the dealer in the winter and there was evidence it was driven on a salted roadway I would insist on it.
