Electric Outlet's
Hi there everyone
I have a strange issue.
When I have my inverter on Gally and bathroom and bedroom outlets don't work....
But my TV's and microwave work.
But when I run the generator or plug it into shore power they all work..
I have a 2008 Fleetwood discovery 39S
Can anyone help
Thanks

Sounds like everything is normal. Your inverter is wired to only power the entertainment systems and microwave which is a basic set up.

I'm a bit surprised that a 2008 Discovery powers only those few outlets, but providing power to only selected outlets is a normal thing.

There are 12 outlets connected to our inverter. See diagram and outlets on the right of the drawing. This should help you troubleshoot your problem. Good Luck

Only thing I would add here is the diagram is the way it is SUPPOSED to be wired. Not always true how it IS wired. I found that out on my Bounder. They do what they want on the line once the folks get their hands on this things in the factory!

Why would they Daisychain the Bath & Galley GFCIs?
And what do the circuit breakers do?
I would question the drawing!

The first diagram I posted is a block diagram and poorly drawn...see this more detailed diagram and it will show the inverter (page 4) going to the circuit breakers and NOT directly daisy chained or by passing the load center/circuit breakers... hope this helps.

Thanks
It helps me, but I'm Not the OP.
You are right the Block Dia, is misleading.
It appears that Ckt 3 is the only GP. That is odd, for all the outlets, Bath, and TVs to be on the same Ckt with no load shedding. But I don't own a Fleetwood.
I don't see where the OP states what his unit is. EDIT found it.
Check Ckt Brk #3 and Brks on Inverter.
What Make and model is your Inverter? You may have a problem with it's Transfer Switch or fuses.
It would sure make things easier if everyone would put the Make, Model, and Year in their signature. Thanks

Much better drawing. Even an electrician can read that one!

Had some more thoughts!
Ckt #1 is input to Inverter, also to Brks #2,3&4 they are only powered with Shore Power or Gen.
Ckts 9&10 are the pass through or Inverted power Ckts.
Working as designed.
PS this has been fun, retired in 1999.
