Electric power cord modification like Tiffin

Has anyone ever modified how there electric cord exits there motorhome?
I like the way Tiffin uses, instead of going out the bottom there is a slot cut in the edge of the compartment just pull the cord out drop it into the slot and close the doorClick image for larger version

Nice! But a 5" hole that FW provides shows so much thought. Kinda like the 2" hole to run two 18 gauge wires through and not fill it with foam.

Newmar has used that method since at least 2000 when we bought our first Dutch Star. I like it better than the deck hatch they use on my rig for the water.
