Electric Step Troubleshooting (I messed up)

Hi All,

Total RV newbie here. In the midst of our 1999 Jamboree renovation, I removed the sensor magnets on the door frame that I believe control the step (i thought they were some cheap security system the previous owner installed). Now, when we are ready to move, of course the step does not activate.

Doe anyone have advice on how to replace/re-install this part to get the step working again?

TIA

Rusty

RV is getting tires right now, but i believe I just cut them. Fingers crossed I still have enough to hook up to motor - if not, is it a new motor for me?
