Electrical issue

Hi. Having trouble with 2000 pace arrow vision. Gennie won't start. No power from house batteries which are brand new. Cannot connect to shore power at this time.

#1 Make sure your battery connections are correctly wired
#2 Check Salesman Switch

Did you replace batteries or did someone else.

Batteries are correctly installed and wired. They were working fine. Think my son used the battery disconnect. But tried to turn on. Where is salesman switch

Please post picture of house battery's. Using volt meter check voltage at generator, should be 12+. Salesman switch is the switch that turns the 12 power on/off.

Is this a new problem since the battery replacement or has the generator previously started with the new batteries ?
Are other 12 volt items like lights, radio, ... working inside the coach ? If they are then you main disconnect switch (Salesman) is on and you should be getting power to the generator.

Salesman switch and battery disconnect switch are one in the same , just personal choice what you call them .

There is a very good chance that close to the batteries you'll find a large fuse or a 12 volt circuit breaker , that was blown or tripped during the battery install.
Follow the positive cable from the batteries ( should be within three feet of the batteries ) and look for something like the pictures below . My coach uses a 135 amp circuit breaker in the gen set cable that runs the length of the coach.

Thanks everyone. Issue has been resolved. The disconnect soloniod located in the BBC was not turning the coach batteries back on. I wired the three posts (chassis, Coach, and Gennie) together and everything worked. Can't use the disconnect but oh well .

Ford, in their infinite wisdom, actually have two solenoids in series to the starter. I had the same problem in my 2000 PAV. Check the passenger side tire well. Forward inboard you will see a solenoid quit expose to road grim. Check it out.
