Engine access in RV

Would someone with a 2015 or 2016 Fleetwood Discover 37R, cummins ISL9 engine, please explain how to access the top of the engine from inside the RV rear bedroom. I don't see a floor panel that lifts up.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know without looking but have you looked under the carpet or under the closet floor?

Engine access in RV

Mine was hidden really well in the carpet.

You can get an idea of where to look inside by first from the outside looking up above your engine. There will be some latches that you have to turn 1/2 or 1/4 turn with a screwdriver from the top. Mine were hidden in the carpet pile pretty good and the cut in the carpet couldn’t be seen either. Mine is between the bed and rear closet right in the center of the coach.

On my 2017 Discovery 37R the floor of the bedroom is all tile. The only carpet over part of the engine is in the closet. The bed is over part of the engine, so I am also awaiting info from others with a 37R as to how to get to the tiled access panel of which only one corner bolt is visible. The bolt top is covered with a silver cap which must be removed first to expose the bolt head. How much of the bed must disassembled?

On my older Fleetwood a corner section of the bed frame was removable by pulling a couple pins. Then the floor panel underneath could be lifted out (after removing floor bolts at each corner.

Ahhhhhh, that's what those are for!! While I was replacing my ATS, which is under the bed behind the breaker panel, I noticed those "pins" in the corner but couldn't think of any reason they would be there....now I know!!!!

Thanks!!!
