Engine and Generator Oil change message reset on dash?

I have searched in the internet and cannot find any instructions on how to reset the engine and generator oil change required message in my dash. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I looked at the dash area of a 2011 Discovery...and see that it does have a light bar but it's different than all the older Light Bar Control Units I'm used to. For those, there is a toggle button that is used to manipulate through the menus for what you seek and I have a manual for that unit...but it probably won't do you any good. I've attached here anyway just in case it might be helpful.

I'm not sure what the procedure is for the later generation light bars. I know this doesn't help much...but my searching on Google didn't bring any light to the situation that I could find. My suggestion would be to call the very helpful folks at Freightliner Custom Chassis in Gaffney, SC. Have your VIN handy....they need the last 6 digits to possible help you. Here is their number:

(800) 385-4357

Best of luck.

This manual also from Freightliner for the LBCU. I tried to attach it but it is slightly larger than allowed. You can get it from here:

Thanks for the info on the LBCU. I have a hard copy but never really tried to enjoy all the options. My date still reads 2007. I use the check list and scroll around for a few engine items temp, turbo, trans temp while underway. Also I looked over the RV tech link and with I had this resource when we first got our coach.

So far after 5 years, I have never had any warning on oil changes so maybe mine is turned off in the menu. I will play with it and find out. One question can I use the LBCU and go through/change the setting without starting up the engine?

Thanks for this helpful and useful information.

John

Yes you can John. Just turn the key toward the START without starting of course. There are quite a few options in there along with some diagnostics that can be helpful.
