Entry Door Catch

I have 2005 Bounder 38N - DP. The front door catch appears to be broken. When we first bought it (about a month ago) the door would stay at 90 deg. I lubed everything with WD-40. Shortly after that the door started swinging 180 deg. You can hear and feel a click at the 90 deg. point.

The problem is that it now slams into the side and is hitting the mirror arm. If there is any wind at all, you have to be very careful to not let it slam into the side/mirror. Also, we can't leave it open for air when we are parked.

I'm not sure if the catch is broken or just needs adjustment. If it's broken, does anyone know what part I need?

FWIW - WD40 is not a lubricant - it’s a penetrant.

You might want to search the board, I think others on here have had a similar issue and posted ways to correct it.
They may have also indicated the type of lubricant they use for the mechanism. My first thoughts would be dry silicone spray. It works well on most all similar automotive mechanisms.
