Question entry door damages wall when it swings open

We have a 2012 Southwind 32VS. when the door is untethered and allowed to swing open on its own it leaves nicks on the outside wall. We have quite a collection of dings. The wall does have the rubber bumper but it does not seem to help. We have owned 2 different class A's and had not have this problem. Is there a pad of some sort to install or go with an additional bumper? Thanks Jim

I'm sure you could add an additional bumper or something. When you say "untethered", do you mean you release the gas strut thing at the top of the door? Our door has never slammed into the side of the coach, but we don't unfasten the cylinder thing (I don't know what that is called).
