Entry door lock assembly problem.

2005 Fleetwood Southwind 32v. Door key operates the door lock just fine.
The key also locks the deadbolt just fine. BUT. The key will NOT open the dead bolt (And I refuse to gain entry through the emergency escape window again. I'm to old and fat to do that more than once.)

Is there a way to adjust the dead bolt? Should I replace the mechanism?

Thank you Steve. Do you have the number or can you tell me where to find it?

You may be able to repair the lock. Remove the red plastic cover on the small knob. Remove the screws that hold the inside cover on. Remove the inside cover. Install the key. turn toward lock and unlock and see why it is not working. If a part is broken you may be able to take it to a RV lot and find a old lock that was saved for parts and purchase the bad part. We always had a box of old locks at our lot.
