Extending Individual Jacks

I have an Atwood electric jack system that works well in Auto mode. However, when trying to extend a single jack at a time, it fails. I hit the EXT button, and an amber colored light next to the EXT button lights. When pressing any two buttons that controls the jacks, nothing happens. Have any of you experienced this with the Atwood electric jack system? If so, what's the issue? What's the fix?
