Filling water tank and what is by pass valves on a 2000 Pace Arrow

Ok I need help! I put on a new water pump outside the rear of the coach drivers side compartment and its running like it should however I am getting very little water in coach. i have filled up the portable fresh water tank. Should i live the faucet's closed or opening in the first hour? I believe my Hot water tank needs to fill up first

The second issue is do I turn the BY Pass lever towards the blue arrow or leave it pointing down? what is this lever/shutoff valve for?

Last question inside my bathroom under the sink there is another by pass lever is this suppose to be opened or closed? what is its purpose?

make sure all faucets are closed (including the outside faucet) until pressure builds up then just open a faucet to let the air out. don't turn your hot water on until it is full of water.
by pass valves are for winterizing, the 1 under the sink is to by pass the water heater. can't say about the blue arrow without a picture.

I went camping with my wife last weekend and we could not get the water heater to ignite I turned on the gas turned on the switch water tank pilot and nothing happened is there something I am missing to ignite the water tank it is full of water but I can't hear the start er ignite the gas or even smell the gas coming out I ran a multimeter on the motherboard and the fuse is working also I checked the thermostat it is getting 12 volts I'm not sure if there's anything else I can troubleshoot or am I supposed to turn on a hot water faucet for it to ignite? Please advise

Helllo, double check to see if there is a spider or stink bug in the end of the burner. I had one in mine and it was hard to see it but when i got rid of it she fired right up.

Good luck

They sometimes corrode and lose connection. Just wiggle the spade
connectors.
