First cross country trip new 35 K

Well getting ready to roll from Iowa to Cape Cod in a new Bounder 35 K.
First class A ( experienced c classer). So some worries about fueling spots and things like that , but excited to try a long 3 week trip in this beautiful rig.
We have done a extended shakedown camp here locally and figured out most systems. Just excited to hit the road for now. Probably a crazy time to burn up over 3000 miles of fuel but I'm getting older and Father Time says get some stuff done before you can't.This site has helped me learn a lot about rigs. No real questions here just venting my excitement.

You're gonna love your class A, it is totally the way to see the country.

Yeah you get used to vetting gas stations. I got to where I'd look at the satellite images on Google maps to see which way the pumps were oriented and whether there's room to maneuver.

Ditto on Google maps with satellite view. I plan on stops every 400 miles in my 35k. Could go longer but depends if you need the generator running for AC which shuts off around 1/4 tank

Good luck with the trip. Got 10k on my '21 35k and love every minute of it. Posting right now from the couch at a great campground

I suggest you pick up an OBDLink MX+ with an iPad. It plugs into your OBD port and you can create a live dashboard to see how your Rv is performing. It has really helped me to improve mpg. Here is an example of the dashboard I run.
