Congrats, I think you made a good deal.

V10 gasser? If so, I suggest having a mechanic look for missing or broken exhaust manifold bolts. As a 2006 it may be a 2005 powertrain. Regardless, thats a lot of years on the exhaust manifold bolts. I'd be surprised if they were all intact. Some of these leaks can not be heard but can burn the heads.

Thank you for the advice. I have noticed today some water leaking from the muffler, at the rear, between the dualies. It was colorless. Should I be worried?

You got yourself a solid RV. The mid-2000's were the best years for Fleetwood (& AC) IMO. I loved my 06 Bounder. With the exception of the bedroom slide motor, which had to be replaced early on, it was bullet-proof.

You won't have to worry about the peeling fabrics others with newer coaches have had to deal with. That year coach had the UltraLeather fabrics on the furniture.

These were 2 of the best upgrades done (outside of my DH installing a hard-wired PI EMS & changing out all the shades to MCD)

Wishing you many happy miles!

Oh, & keep spare slide motor bolts on hand. They tend to shear on the large slide.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.

They hide their information well. https://www.fleetwoodrv.com/contact-us/
Fill out the page and you used to get several messages with the info. The Fleetwood ID Number should be on wall behind the drivers seat or under the left mirror.

Water dripping from the tail pipe while warming up is normal. Nothing to worry about. It is merely condensation occurring between the hot exhaust and surfaces at ambient air temperature. Once warmed up you won't notice any water dripping
