Fleet wood Storm main/aux switches

Hi all -
New owners of a 2003 Fleetwood storm here. In our former RV, a Chinook, we used 2 small solar panels plugged into the 12v outlet for storage charging. With the mains switched in the Storm, will this work, or do I have to connect them directly to the battery ? Thanks, it's gonna be a fun adventure....

You'll need to switch off the battery disconnect switches and see if you can find something still 'live.' You might have to wire them directly or run wires from the battery compartment or battery side of the disconnect solenoids to your solar panels. It shouldn't be too hard to wire a dedicated power outlet you can plug the panels into while storing the RV.
