Fleetwood 2008 / Muffler Exhaust.

I have a 2008 Providence. My tail pipe has rusted and broke from about 6" from the muffler. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone and what my options are beside replacing the entire exhaust system unit is all one piece. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I was able to get the parts for my 1997 exhaust tail pipe repair from the chassis manufacture. Maybe you can do the same, yours is newer than mine and they still had the parts.

While you're waiting for responses, you might take a look at this thread to see if it will help:

Exhaust Pipe Rusted

Not sure if you have the "sock" or not but rusting in that area is common with '08 FCCC and beyond

Why haven't you taken it to a muffler shop? They fix things like this.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Any local muffler shop should be able to fix that for you. Just a matter of finding one that you can get into! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

my tailpipe was rusted and leaking , (poor weld job from new or previous owner) I bought a couple of elbows and a short piece of straight , I also purchased a Jones brand turbine muffler , it is a little louder but sounds ok , have not had a chance to get fuel milage difference .
I welded it all together with my mig and used new band clamps , and built a better muffler support than factory
