Fleetwood Bounder 2005 38n

I am seriously looking at buying a 2005 Bounder with 9100 miles.
Cat 300hp.
This will be my first. Very clean in and out. Maint records look good.
original tires.
Any concerns? I am concerned about the age of the tires. They are showing no crack or damage but they are original?

What would be a good price? Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond!

I would change those tires. As for as price shop around then when you get some prices in your neck of the woods post them here and I am sure someone will let you know what seems to e a good price. I purchased 6 Bridgestones for 600 a piece mounted and balanced.

If you want a first class ride. Put koni shocks and a set of Michelin tires on it. FMCA had a tire program they still might.

To determine the age of the tires one must check the DOT dare code on each tire. At the age of the coach they well may be original or may have been replaced.

Other things to check

The age of the batteries. The 6v ones should last up to 7-8 years. 12v is pushing you luck at 5.

Recall done on the Norcold refer (if needed)

Take a look at the seams on the roof. Re-caulking is not cheap unless you do it yourself.

Slideouts covers condition (if it has them)

Windshield leaks. (Test it with a hose!)

Remember, it's all worth it!
