Fleetwood Bounder 33C?
I'm hoping to hear from any current owners of this model.
We're considering getting one, there is a 2013 model on clearance.
Does the generator noise get into the bedroom area?
Any quality or design issues?

Welcome to irv2. We have a few members here that have one including the one and only SarahW. It's a great MH.

Howdy and welcome to iRV2! We own a 2012 33C and have had great luck with it. The fit and finish are good and we have not had any significant issues. We don't find the generator noise to be an issue. Typically the air conditioners are pretty loud and they drown out the genny. We don't do a lot of boondocking, so mostly we are on shore power and don't run the generator very often except to exercise it.

Me Too!
Hi Rich,
I live a few miles from you in Rancho Cordova, CA and can attest to all Cliff and Sarah have stated.
Purchased my 2008 Bounder new and have traveled down the road with great joy and confidence since then and look forward to many more years with my baby.

We have a 2012 35K and the generator noise has never been a problem. The AC is noisy however. We're very happy with our unit. We put 15,000 miles on it the first year and will be going full time RVing in a few days. There were a few minor problems when we first got the unit, but they were quickly resolved.

My wife and I are in the final paperwork stage of buying a 2014 Bounder 33C from Lazy Day's RV's in Tampa. They had a great sale and we had done a lot of research and this coach seems to have it all. We had a Monaco Diplomat we bought new in 2006 but only put 7,000 miles on it. It was too big to get into some places. We sold that one and have been RV-less for about 3 years. We almost bought one from Camping World in Nashville, but the price was thousands more for the same model and equipment. Anyway, we went over the Bounders from front to back and they met everything we wanted in an RV.

I bought a 35k this year and love it. Gen is back toward bedroom and its not bad at all. We boondocks all the time and actually have a hard time sleeping if we don't have a little gen noise. The ac is much louder than the gen. You will be extremely happy with the fit and finish.

Have any of you Bounder owners had the macerator unit attached to your dump valve? It reduces the size of the waste hose to the size of a garden hose. I had one on my Monaco coach and I was very pleased with its ease of use and storage. I am picking up my Bounder on Thursday and spending the night at Lazy Days guest pad for the night before we head back to Nashville. I am wanting to use my 2012 Jeep Wrangler as my toad. Anybody think that's too heavy to pull or that I will definitely put a serious drag on the coach? Last, is that 3M film on the front of the coach worth the cost? It's not on now, but I can have it and the macerator installed while I am there. Advice and comments are welcomed!

I don't know anything about the macerator; sorry. We tow a 2012 Wrangler and it is no problem; you won't even know it's back there. I'd vote "no" on the 3M film. I've read too many horror stories about trying to get that stuff off after it yellows in the sun. Good luck and enjoy your new Bounder!

Mine came from the factory with the diamond shield. I have used it on cars for a bunch of years and never had one end up yellow or cracked. I have read on this site that a bunch of people had problems with them cracking ect. and that they were a real pain to remove. I like the fact that its there. Im one of those people that once it has a scratch I would just assume trade it in. I like the idea that it keeps the front chip free, I'll worry about replacing or removing it later. I think they have improved the film they use over the last few years.
