Our dealer put a guard in place on the hydraulic fluid tank and solenoid, as road grime from the factory-dealer trip was noticed, which led to corrosion of the slide solenoid. Just a goodwill thing, but no slime build up on it anymore.

I have the exact same problem with the electrical bay getting wet in my 40E. I actually have rust residue in there. I've had the dealer, seal it twice now but still has not helped. I worry about corrosion issues happening down the road, over time. I also noticed that you had mentioned a wiring diagram. Was it difficult to get a wiring diagram for a 2013 40E from Fleetwood? I would even be willing to pay for it, it would come in pretty handy.

I have wiring for the Audio/Visual if that helps. Vandog has it for the salon TV hoist. If you email FW from their website they will send you whatever diagram you ask for. If mine helps, PM me your email and will send it along. If you mean where the batteries are, with them gassing, you will always get corrosion. I was thinking one day of removing all bats and spray with Tremclad Rust paint.

Brian, the area I'm talking about rust is where the actual power reel is and all the other electrical components. It appears that water runs in from the framework.

Next year NASCAR will be either on Fox or NBC.
You can also get the DirecTV DNS to see the networks.

Hey Brian, can you send that to me as well jimmycoleman@charter.net. They fixed my lift but had disconnected my A/V wires. so I opened it up, plugged them back in and noticed the was the cables were running. still working on Router placement near power and easy outside access for the pole antenna.

Check to see if you have changed the switch in the cabinet above the driver. It controls which antenna port feeds the system - it either connects the cable in the electric bay or the over the air antenna. It has nothing to do with the dish antenna.

Good morning Rambler....I just read this post and I have the same problem. It appears that I get water in the compartment every time I am driving in the rain. The coach is going into the dealer next week and that is one of the items I am going to have them address the problem but it looks like the mud flap behind the rear wheel is not properly installed and the water gets up thru there.

Sorry to hear you are having the same issue. I still fight it from time to time. My water seems to be coming from the top and thru one of the frame pipes. I say this, because the water is always rusty. Please let me know anything you find out, it would be appreciated.

You should have a multiplexor that allows you to switch from cable, to satellite to ant to aux, etc.
