Fleetwood Discovery wont turn off
I have a 2000 Fleetwood discovery, and I had the leveling Jacks rebuilt on the unit, and now the vehicle wont shut off. When you turn the key to the off position, the abs light comes on, and it keeps running. If I go and pull the fuel relay back by the engine, it shuts off. I thought the relay was stuck so I replaced it, and it didnt work, still runs, unless relay is pulled.

It sounds like the jack repair might have hooked the power up incorrectly. If you check wires into the ignition switch, I think you'll find power is coming through the jacks to keep ignition powered. Try pulling the fuse for the jacks and see if you can shut engine down.

Is there power that goes to the jacks, I ddint see where wires plugged in, because I was thinking something similar, but I just see the hydraulic lines for the jacks.

On the jack control panel, isn't there an on/off switch? I would think that 12 v (+) source is connected to the ignition switch. It also could be an alarm wire that is supposed to sound if you start or shift to D with jacks down. Have you contacted the jack repair shop and explained the issue? They might know more definitively.

By saying "I had the leveling Jacks rebuilt on the unit" what did they do? Did they do anything to the pump? Check all ground wires in that area and make sure the the other connections are correct. I have electrical diagrams for a 1997 Discovery on a Freightliner if you think they would help at all.
Also don't be afraid to call Freightliner for help.
Keep us informed.

All my local rv dealers said the leveling jacks couldn't be rebuilt, I had to buy new ones. I took It to a place that specializes in hydraulics, and they said no problem, fixing it, they rebuilt the rear jacks because the passenger side was leaking. The took them off and rebuilt them, and called me and said it wouldn't shut off, they charged me an extra $120 to pull a relay, after I called them back and told them I seen online it said to pull the relay to fuel system. I brought it home, replaced that relay, and still the same problem. Pulled the ignition just now, and unplugged it, and it's. Still running.

I am sure you know that a diesel has no ignition. It will run forever until the fuel is shut off. When you turn off the ignition switch you are just killing power to the fuel shutoff valve. Check and I am sure you will find voltage still going to the valve after you turn off the switch. Start checking that wire until you find the 12V source.

Have you pulled the fuse for the jacks yet? I think it will help show what direction to go next. Also, what brand of jacks do you have?

I had the same problem when I bought my Fleetwood Bounder from the Dealer. They called Freightliner in Gaffney SC and they told them to replace a capacitor or resister somewhere in the Ignition circuit. It was a $ 1.20 item. Maybe you could call them to.
