Question Fleetwood Electrical--help!

I have a 2006 Fleetwood Prowler that is having some weird issues- but i think my biggest issue is my understanding of how the electrical system works! We disconnected the battery and hooked up to 120v power, and lights slowly started working along with the other electrical appliances but I'm confused as to why they slowly started to gain more power? Shouldn't they receive immediate power when hooked up to 120v? instead of acting like it is charging a battery and then drawing power from that?
Also if anyone happens to have any idea of where to find the GFCI outlet that would have the reset button I am all ears! Thanks!

Welcome to iRV2.

Question .
Why have you disconnected the battery ?

Some brands of inverters( or converters, not sure what your RV is equipped with ) need to see a battery in the circuit order to properly regulate their output voltage .

Note that , converters are actually ; converter/ chargers and the larger inverters ( 2000 watt ) are ; inverter/converter/chargers.

If you don't have manuals for your RV systems and appliances get the make and model info and look for a manual at this site.

That makes sense! We disconnected it last night because the battery is trash, picking up a new one today after work and will install to see if that helps get everything running smoothly. I had it in my head that it was either/or when it came to 120v power or 12v but looking at the diagram I see they work hand in hand. Thanks!
