fleetwood excursion 33a ac compressor fuse location

Hello all,

My fleetwood excursion 33a ac compressor clutch locked up and fried my belt; all now been fixed/replaced and my system recharged. However, no one can find the fuse for the AC compressor fuse location! multiple professionals and a few amateurs (me and my pops) have looked 'everywhere.'

We tried the dash, under the dash, in the removable panel under the center console, near the inverter, in the far back bays...wits end over here.

Maybe mislabeled?

i tried emailing fleetwood through the REVgroup website and they never returned my message...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to iRV2

Sorry your first post is about problems ?

What year is your coach ?
Freightliner chassis ?
Do you have any indication of what manufacturer of the dash HVAC system Fleetwood put in your coach ? Evans ? Denso ?
Does the blower fan run ?

Evans dash units are usually easy to spot by the company name in the housing .
Blue oval.

Good morning and thanks for the quick response!

Apologies, I thought that my profile had updated and showed my rig.

It is a 2013 Fleetwood Excursion 33A - Freightliner chassis; cummins 300

Blower does blow air, just not cold. When the clutch locked up on the AC compressor, it burned the main belt and stranded us last big trip (Florabama). Luckily, I found a great mobile diesel repair out of Mobile, AL. Shoutout to Cory from Holmes Diesel.

We replaced the belt and the OEM AC clutch. I then drove it to their shop on our way home and had the system charged so that we were back to 100% prior to remaining tx drive home.

None of us could find the darn fuse. We looked everywhere (obviously not). Even other senior mech's came by to check. After an hour of looking for it, we gave up with the assumption that Fleetwood would have a quick answer.

I emailed them 2 months ago and havent had even a response from them. Disappointed. It seems that everyone of these have them somewhere different, making the owner's manual worthless.

Apologies, I do not know the dash manufact, but its the 3 round knobs that were in every basic dash of truck in that era.

Hope this helps? sorry, for the lack of brevity!

I had a same issue and it took me 3 days to figure it out.

I can't say this is your exact location...but you might try it. I had to remove the fuse blocks to see/get at it. You're looking for a 10A glass cartridge fuse taped up in a harness.

Look at pics and decide. Best of luck.

I didn't think he needed the entire service manual for just the location of the fuse.

But I feel better knowing there is someone out there monitoring and/or correcting my posts.

Like many things in life ; no such thing as too much truck ; no such thing as too much engine in your coach ; the more info the better , is my way of looking at things .
