Fleetwood Excursion 35E....Anyone have one ?

I've been considering the Fleetwood Excursion 35E as a possible entry level diesel, along with a few others.

My needs are the bunks, preferably the drop down loft and 10k hitch. I know it doesn't really have 10k tow capacity, but I need slightly more than the 5k most are rated at.

I wanted to find out if anyone has one and what your experience has been with it thus far? Issues, fuel mileage? Quirks? How is the power? Power with a toad?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We don't have an E - but it is the same engine/transmission and everything else as our 35B - with the exception of the bunks. I'm still happy with ours. We have had some "being new" issues, but, I would buy an Excursion again. We are getting a little over 11 miles per gallon, but we aren't towing anything yet. There are squeaks - listen for them on a test drive. Some people, they really bother - I'm in the camp that it doesn't really. Enough power for me, as I'm also in the slow and easy group. My corvette days are over, and if I want to get up to speed quickly, I'll drive as our BMW. There is a long Excursion thread in case you want to get the good, bad and ugly!
