Fleetwood Expedition 2013 potential roof leak

The caulking at the joint (across) between the roof and the rear cap/clip is opening and the screws in the middle have popped. I have looked in these forums for ways to repair it. Ideas and where to look for pointers? I am going to check to see if it is a warranty issue, we're the original owners for three years. We have had a bunch of fairly significant issus with this rig.

I would check with Fleetwood and see if it's a common problem and see what the fix is. Be sure and post your reply from Fleetwood, I'm sure others would be interested. Good luck with it.

Ok.

However, my dealer has been less than stellar in their warranty repairs with little support from Fleetwood. It is easier for me to do the repair.

It looks like it has Dicor on it.
I checked out youtube.

So, Dicor vs Eternabond tape. Which is better?

The flexing of the coach's fiberglass rear cap and the aluminum roof popped the middle screws which cracked the dicor. I am going to clean up the old caulk and replace the screws and put in a few more. It seems that Eternabond might be better choice because of the pliability.

Well there was only one screw in the middle of this 7 foot butt joint! No wonder it came loose.

I cleaned the old dicor off. And then cleaned the surfaces.
I put 6 screws along the edge.
Then I caulked the joint with Dicor self leveling caulk. Covering the screw heads too.

I appled more caulk to front joint too as it looked like it was showing some small cracks.
