I have a 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta 33L That is equipped with a Steer safe steering system. I was changing the oil the other day and was inspecting the Steer safe system. I noticed that all the locking nuts on the eye bolts holding the springs were only about half way up the threads. The systems was installed by a RV garage for the previous owner about two years before I bought it. I have owned this motorhome for about a year and have not noticed any steering issues But I was wondering if the locking nuts should be tightened to the end of the thread.
