Fleetwood Flair Converter Location?

We purchased our 2004 Fleetwood Flair a few months ago and are full timers. We love the motor home however our batteries keep going dead. I start the engine to charge them. I know there is a converter but I cannot find. If someone would let me know where it is I would be grateful.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I'm not a Fleetwood guy but wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

The engine may not recharge all batts. fast enough. Shore power is what I use. When it is plugged in I can hear the converter humming and it is easy to locate that way. Mine is a 1994 and it is in a small exterior compartment under the sink.

Many Converters are tucked under the circuit breaker panel.

If you remove the front cover, ( a few screws ), it may be sitting right there on the bottom.

OK, you didn't mention what model Flair you have, but we have a 33R and the converter is located under the refer. There is a grill at floor level that you remove, and a wood panel just above it that should be removed to have better access to the converter. It will be screwed to the floor. There should be enough wire to remove it to disconnect the battery wires on the back side. I would recommend removing both battery cables at the batteries before messing with the converter.
