Fleetwood Flair Inverter

Hello all, I have a 2004 Fleetwood Flair (34), when I am not connected to shore power, only batteries, only the lights work, my outlets don’t work and the TV does not turn on. I understand there should be an inverter switch somewhere but I cannot find it. Any help/guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all!

There is a green light and reset button on the front of my magnum inverter.
If you have the same, just press the reset and the green light should come on.

You may not even have an inverter, or it may be a tiny one that only powers the tv. As I recall, an inverter to power the outlets was optional in that year.

Check your battery compartment for the box connected to the battery cables. If it says Xantrex, it's probably an inverter/charger. If not, you may not have one, or its an aftermarket upgrade stashed elsewhere.

I have a 04 Flair and inverter was not standard. As stated You may not have one. Does lights, pump work? Do you have the batteries under the entry steps?

Your lights and water pump are 12 volt running off of the batteries. We have a 2018 Flair, there is no inverter, it's generator or shore power only for TV and outlets. I would assume the earlier model was the same.

You most probably do not have a inverter.

You likely have a converter. E-mail Fleetwood RV Tech Assistance they have been great with my inquiries even sending schematics to show locations and wiring of components.

I agree with the previous posters in that you probably do not have an inverter. My unit, 2013 Storm 32bh did not come with one. It was an option. I believe that most of the Storms, Terra, Flairs did not come with one standard and it was an option. Now with the advent of the homestyle refrigs not operating off of propane/12v the newer ones come with an inverter out of necessity. I did a previous post that described how to go the fleetwood service and by putting in your FIN(fleetwood identification no.) and your VIN you can get the "as built" specs for your exact unit. That way you can actually see what it came with. Good Luck.

No inverter when we got ours and it's loaded. I put in a Xantrex PROWatt 2000 Inverter, with True Sine-Wave output. It's just connected to the kitchen outlet, but works great for my morning coffee without starting the generator.
