Ooohh, nice suggestion. May we have more than 1 karma? I'd like to have Fleetwood Owners Group without giving up our iRV2 Contributor status.
Honest, Santa, I've been really good this year!

I am confused. I belong to the Discovery Owners Group, and moderate the Revolution Owners Group, and contribute to the Fleetwood Products Owner's Forum. Tell me about the 'Fleetwood Owners Group'. That could include all Fleetwood Products, trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes. How about American Coach? I would assume that any group with too broad a mandate will be less helpful or interesting but then what do I know. Perhaps someone could enlighten....

This forum is for all Fleetwood owners to discuss any Fleetwood issue.
Fleetwood motorized, towable, and American coaches would all be included in this forum.
We have found that many issues, such as engines, transmissions, batteries, air conditioners, etc, are not necessarily restricted to one particular RV model.
If we had a Bounder section for example, many members would post a generic question in that forum, and most other members would not see it, and any help would be limited.
This is not to preclude any member from starting a thread relating to their particular model.
The "Fleetwood Forum Owners Member" karma is just recognition of owning a Fleetwood product.
All iRV2 members are welcome, and encouraged to post in any forum they wish.

My confusion is, apparently, because of the name game. Fleetwood Products Owner's Forum, Fleetwood Owner's Group. It seems to have evolved from a Bounders group.... Or am I missing something here?

Dirk was just using the name Bounder as an example. He could just as well have used Revolution or Excursion or any other Fleetwood RV name to make his point.
Hope this helped.

Thanks Gary, you are correct.
The Fleetwood Products Owner's Forum includes ALL Fleetwood products.

Jack-
Dirk probably said it best when he said "The "Fleetwood Forum Owners Member" karma is just recognition of owning a Fleetwood product."
I don't think it evolved from anything other than members liking to have a caption or moniker (known here as a karma) associated with our member name. Many iRV2 members have the manufacturer &/or even the model of their rv as their "group" karma, amongst other listings. Mike just happened to be the first to notice that no Fleetwood owners had such a designation with their member name.
At least, that's how my brain thinks it works.
