Fleetwood levelers powergear

I have a 2005 fleet wood excursion, having trouble with the levelers, installed a new controller located in the coaches storage cabinet by vacuum. Now I get a code that says transmission not in neutral! The wait light stays on. Tranny is in neutral. I can get levelers to work by hitting front 5 times then rear5 times. Then level then shut key off. Soon as key is turned on levelers retract! Any suggestions donít know what to look for anymore

Good info can be found on you-tube. But, here's good info I keep "on hand".

Northwest RV Supply

https://pdxrvwholesale.com/

These were good sites for me to figure out the problems with mine.

Why was the Power Gear controller replaced? Was the controller replaced because of the problem you mentioned -"code that says transmission not in neutral"!??

There is wire from the transmission selection to the controller. This wire alerts the power gear display panel the levelers are down when shifted into drive or reverse and or not in neutral.

Controller

I took mh to rv shop they said they called powergear, and tested it and it wes bad, so they replaced it, now It still doesnít work , the rv ship said they donít have anyone to deal with chassis problems!! So I have been trying to figure out this transmission code issue, why couldnít a person jump the controller at the neutral safety switch terminals to by pass it
