Was that a good fit with for your old monitor? Where you able to use the old cable because of the tilt option?

Tilt option ? I ran 3 new cables for new cameras. Used existing rear view cable. But rear Camera video image is not stable. Not sure if that's a bad cam or the cable. The existing cable is aluminum wire which is ok for b/w video but not for color video so I will be running new cable for rear camera when I get chance, just don't feel like pulling dash all back apart again right now.
Yes I was pleased with monitor install. Was too big to mount front panel , but placed behind and mated to existing cut out just centered screen up when unit mounted. Can see my install 2 or 3 pages back.

What I meant was that the old camera running the old monitor had a tilt up and down.

Gotcha. Didn't know they had that but can see its benefit. I position mine to view further back so I can see part of toad and what's behind it

Also if you bought a single monitor you could get this unit to split to 4 cameras and have 4 on screen. I just liked display options better on that monitor with dvr built into it where I can have left and right side cams on left and right side with fwd and rear in between them.

I bought the one with the same part # and it's listed as a quad screen DVR monitor but is in reality only a dual input monitor. Without the DVR. STILL arguing with them that they sent the wrong unit.

Happy to see it was not my mistake.

I'll try again. If I can get them to refund my money it will be a miracle. Their English is not so goood.

Fleetwood Discovery Bedroom Speaker Upgrade

Thought I’d post some pics of my bedroom speaker replacement. One of the first things I did was swap out the speakers in the front and in the back. The front ones were easy. The bedroom ones, not so much.

The bedroom speakers were screwed in from behind, with no real easy way I could see to get to them to unscrew them. They also had black speaker grill cloth on the front that was glued on.

So I had to get ugly with it. Basically cut out the grill cloth around the existing speaker hole. Then punched through the cone on the factory speaker (which wasn’t hard as they are paper), then cut the guts of the speaker out enough where I could get behind it and unscrew the speaker. That allowed me to then put the new speakers in from the front. I think it turned out good. Only difference is you can now see the speakers were before they were hidden. They sound SO much better than factory though. Pics attached! Somehow the pics uploaded sideways but you get the idea.

AV Mega update

Since this is my home and office, I need to have a pretty serious setup. Cable management is not complete, but for now I'm happy with how things are. 1440 32" monitor ran by an old Macbook Air, which handles split screen perfectly. With virtual desktop it's basically as many "monitors" as I want.

The TV that replaced the CRT is on WIFI so I can enjoy cable, OTA, or streaming goodness. I have HDMI fed through a fairly recent Denon receiver that's powering a couple of home build C-Notes from Parts Express. This is absolute overkill, and even with 2 smallish speakers I'd put it against any sound bar, including one with a sub.

It's far from complete, but I'm glad the dual bedroom slide gives enough room to have a rear office. The wife's office is the front which I can post about later. There's much more than I mentioned, so if you have questions feel free to give me a shout!

You have me just a tiny bit jealous.
Since I am just into the beginning of my major interior re-do on my 38n, I see one thing I have a little question on. The small peninsula to the right of the fridge, do you have a cabinet door there or is it a tip-out bin?
I'm about to pull the loveseat and add a swivel recliner with a drop down work station on the side of the kitchen base. I'd be curious what you have there.

Murphy bed in the stowed position. Our breakfast bar is looking good. Head knocker light cabinet will be corrected, smaller cabinet door on order. When camped the Keurig will reside on this counter, also an easy place to eat lunch. Still deciding if the table that formerly occupied this space will reside on the front of the Murphy bed. We have the aluminum one underneath when we need a table that needs a to be tested as a sewing table. Polished aluminum looks good with the bar stools. Five o’clock somewhere has meaning in this configuration. Shade goes back soon.Click image for larger version

New brushed stainless kitchen faucet w/pull down sprayer to replace the crappy OEM white plastic one that's been leaking for 2 years.

I'll get either an under-mount soap dispenser or a cover button for the hole previously occupied by the separate sprayer that was with the OEM faucet.
