Hey Brian! You know, I didn't think to take a pic of the installed lights! I will do that the next time we go to the Bounder. I had ordered "test" LEDs in all three colors... warm, natural, and cool--to see which we would like best. To my eye, the warm was too yellow and the cool was too bright-white. The natural was the best choice for us, but I imagine others have a different preference. It's so subjective that I'd recommend ordering each of the colors and test them out yourself. I ordered through M4's website and they allowed me to return the colors we didn't want.

Here is a crummy cell phone pic I took to compare the OEM halogen bulb on the left and the COOL WHITE LED on the right. We didn't like the harshness of the cool LED.

We own the ReadyBrute Elite towbar, which incorporates the built-in Ready Brake surge brake. With the Ready Brute Elite, you don't have to worry about a separate supplemental braking system. The setup was pretty easy; my hubby did the installation by himself, including the base plate on the Wrangler. Check out the "Toads and Motorhome Related Towing" section of the forum for lots of info about towing a Jeep!

My Paint helper and I get to finish color sanding and final polish on the strips. We did a little at a time and took about 6 months to Finnish. We also repaired and resprayed the front and rear caps. Looks lots better without the faded and cracked vinyle strips.

Out with the Norcold

Last spring the safety recall box tripped...flashing red light. Dealer reset the box for $125.
Dewinterized MH and again this year the dreaded flashing red light. I tried the magnet trick, stood on one foot, closed one eye, rubbed my belly... could not get the box to reset.

A stop at Home Depot solved the issue.

Samsung 197 is on order and the Norcold is out of the cabinet sitting on the kitchen floor.

Looks like it will require some work to gain some height but will be a great addition when we begin FT.

The wet bay on our 35H Discovery is a bit cramped and there just wasn't a good place to put the Stinky Slinky without it dribbling all over the other things in there. I bought a 5-in x 5-in x 96-in White Vinyl Fence Post from Lowe's for $24.97 and installed 67" of it through the sidewall of the compartment and attached it to the frame rails. I think it is one of the best and cheapest improvements I have ever made.

Changed the stupid plastic latches in the basement doors to metal. Not a hard job. Now I don't have to sweat trying to get a jammed door open.

Changed out the CRT TV's to HD LED/LCD TV's, added Blu-Ray players for both & changed out the CRT back up monitor/B&W camera to an LCD monitor/color camera one (monitor just visible below the TV)

Before above dash:

After above dash:

Before bedroom:

After bedroom (TV is above window & storage is now where TV used to be):

DH also hard-wired a Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C w/remote display, but I can't get to it (for pictures) without taking out the wardrobe drawers. I'll post a pic when I do that.

Entire coach changed out the stupid, uneven accordion day/nite blinds to MCD duo shades. Just realized I don't have pics of those. Will have to do that.

Also have had installed electric & water hose reels, paddlefan in bedroom, CB antenna & repainted the faded bay door handle. Pics forthcoming...

Oops, forgot a couple:

Changed to LED lights in most-used fixtures (bright white hue):

Changed out the porch light (when the OEM lens shattered from sun exposure) to a Smart Light 1000:

Does building an RV port count as an upgrade? :

I'm in the process of changing out the old style front TV for a LED one. First I want to say the old style TV can weigh 80 pounds so have a helper when dragging it out. We purchased a Samsung (only weighs 17 pounds) and I just found out the opening for the speakers are on the bottom of the TV and not on the front.

Upgraded water regulator to 55 psi and replaced shower head with a oxygenics shower head which has made a noticeable difference.

Made sewage hose storage out of 5x5 fence rail:

Yeah, that can be tricky. Many we looked at that I liked had the speakers on the sides. Ended up with a Visio from WM w/speakers on the bottom but facing front because I didn't want to go the trouble of surround sound.
