Getting the L-Shaped sectional out is exactly as she described. We took out the drawer and unbolted everything. All the pieces came out the door with no problem but we did have to dismantle parts of the section that rolls out to make the "L". As Sarah stated we took the back off and the plywood piece. And yes there were a bunch of staples. We did remove the screen door and the shock for the main door. I had two friends to so have 6 hands to move the pieces was a blessing.

The new Pinnacle Sofa will be delivered on Saturday. The back comes off which will make it come in easier. Lazy Boy delivery men will be bringing it in. If for any reason it is damaged or does not fit we can refuse delivery.
I hope you love your new sofa, Eddie!! Post some pics when it's installed.

We wanted to use the full recline of our La-Z-Boy loveseat, so even if we would have truncated the lambrequins, the loveseat would be over the edge of the slide. We used 3/4" plywood to support the front edge of the loveseat so that it was supported when the slide is retracted, and we can full recline.

The Pinnacle La-z-boy wall-away sofa fits easily on the slide with no modification other than the shortened lambriquins. The sofa is actually about the same distance from the wall as the original one, only it is taller. Here is the position of the Pinnacle on the slide in our Bounder...

The recliners will fully recline as it sits in the slide, with room to walk past as well.

Interesting as our Ace loveseat has virtually the same dimensions as the Pinnacle. But we are not messing with the lambrequins because they are made different from what you had. That four inches put us over the hard slide floor.

As you can see from my pictures on the previous page, the Pinnacle is not any farther out on the slide than the dinette booth. It was an easy fit once the lambriquins were altered to allow full reclining. I would not have wanted to alter the slide floor... doesn't that make accessing the midship bath a little difficult? At any rate, everyone seems happy with their La-z-boys!

I still think the mfr's need to dump FlexSteel & make a deal w/LZB for interior seating.

A lot of coaches are coming with one or two recliners on one side, and a love seat /fold out on the other. I took my sofa bed out of my 2004 Pace Arrow along time ago.
