Are they the same coach? Looking at them, they appear to be identical in everything but name.

Fleetwood Revolution was a Revolution made on the American Coach line the top of the fleetwood line. The American Coach revolution was after bankruptcy and it is on the bottom of the American coach line.

The other answers are on-target. There were many similarities in each model year, but not at all "the same". I had an '04 American Tradition and a guy I knew bought a '04 Revolution (before it became "American Revolution") and I spent a lot of time showing him things about his coach. While they shared a lot of features, the number of differences in various details actually surprised me.

Multiple years look very similar, with the same powertrains. No specific year in mind at the moment.

03-08 Revolutions do not have Aquahot hydronic heat.
05-08 Revolution LE had Liberty chassis and bigger C9 engine

So the LE is the higher end of the two?

LE started life as an up-trim option for the Rev, but by 2007 they were all labeled LE. So, prior to 2007, yes LE is higher trim than vanilla Revolution.

Then in 2011 the Fleetwood Revolution became the American Revolution (branded as an American Coach instead of Fleetwood) and the LE was dropped.

There was a family resemblance before 2011 but when the Rev became a formal part of the American Coach line-up, the look became identical on the outside and the floor plans and option much alike inside (but fewer high end features available).

Look thru the brochures over the years to see the differences.

I like our Rev for the exterior looks and the old school amenities, like propane furnaces and hot water tank, having an oven...etc...etc...
Usually at a better price too. Not having the American name on the 05 - 07, may have something to do with it's book value, as well, but I have no way of knowing that. MSRP was certainly more for the AMERICAN named coaches of the same era, that's for sure.
The LE is a must for many reasons and I do believe it was only an option in 05, with the 06 and 07 all having a Liberty chassis. Also the 05 - 07 Rev LE's have a C9 CAT engine, which I prefer. Just be sure that the engine is no newer than an 06 and what I call, the last of the slobber tubes, before CAT dropped out of the over the road emission game.

I have a 07 Rev LE how can I tell if I have the perfered C9?

It has to have a C9, with what I know of them. Is it yellow and does it say 400HP on the rear of the coach itself?
Also, with looking in at it and right there on the front of the engine, there should be a serial number tag.
Giving CAT a call @ 877 777 3126, will tell you it's history, if it has been serviced by a CAT shop. Also the year of manufacture if it's not already stamped there somewhere.
