Fleetwood Southwind 36T inverter

I have a 2000 Fleetwood Southwind 36T, I'm having issues with voltage being under 12v.... 11.62v to be exact. I have been told that I need an inverter to start. Problem is they do not make this model that I need (of course ya know). The inverter I have currently is a PowerTek pdc-1009 55 amp. My first question is what model will be equivalent?

2nd issue is the a/c;
I can only run on low cool and high cool as of now. When I switch ECC from off to low cool or high cool it's lagging. I can go to the hood over the stove and flip any switch it will kick the a/c into gear. When I shut it off the compressor may or may not continue to run, if it does I go BK to the hood and flip a switch and it shuts off..... HELPPPP I'm a newbie 🙄

Welcome to the Forum.

I suspect your talking about a "converter", not an inverter. The Converter is the box that makes 12 volts when your plugged into shore power.

I recently replaced the converter in my 99 Southwiind. I was dealing with other issues and wrote an article on it. However, If you scroll down near the bottom, you'll see the inverter I chose to replace my old one.

I'm not understanding what you are saying about your A/C units.. If you look on my site under the DOWNLOADS tab, you will find a lot of manuals that may also apply to your Southwind. This link is to the ECC control and tells you how it works.

The Powermax 55 is a good replacement converter.
I've had mine for 6 years now. It is a 4 stage model.
