Fleetwood vs. Tiffin

I have narrowed down search to either a 2012 Fleetwood Expedition 38B or the Tiffin Phaeton 40QKH (also a bunkhouse). Any input from owners?

The Phaeton is a bit more upscale that the Expedition, isn't it? A Phaeton is more in the Discovery or even the Providence class.

As for the two brands, right now the Phaeton is the darling of the motorhome industry - it seems to have the features everybody wants at a price they can swallow. And Tiffin factory service is outstanding. Fleetwood also does good factory service, though, and the waiting lines aren't as long as Tiffins (3 months minimum).

I have the Providence.

Standard Fleetwood Lineup:
Expedition -> Discovery -> (Providence/Excursion) -> Revolution

Fleetwood's higher end Motorhomes
American Coach Line-up: Revolution -> Tradition -> Eagle -> Heritage

Seems like it was the Revolution that was in the Fleetwood line and is now in the American Coach line.

I think the Providence is in the same price class as a Phaeton while the Fleetwood American Coach line is in a higher price class.

Make sure you look at the Phaeton bunkhouse in person. It is a new design as of last year, and quite a tight fit getting to the rear while closed up. It forced one of my friends to buy a much better floor plan with the Discovery 40G. We have the same model and love it.
