Floor switch 94 Pace Arrow???

I have 94 pace arrow chevy chassis 33L.
I can not for the life of me figure out what the floor switch does that is located where an older high low beam switch would be on an older unit.
It looks exactly like an old high beam foot switch but it does not click, it only presses in and out with no clicking sound.
With engine running, I test the headlights and pull the blinker lever and high beams act as normal. I press the foot switch many times and nothing happens. Any body have any idea what this floor foot switch does?
Thank you for taking the time to read..........

I had a pace arrow that had the same switch and it was to turn the over drive unit on
that was connected to the transmission.
Do not know if it was a stock item or someone added it later.
