Flooring in Bounder Classic

We are planning on redoing the flooring with LVT. It is in thin planks. We will be glueing it down and wonder if we should put it over the linoleum?

This s one of those "not an easy answer" questions. If the vinyl was "really" glued down. (as opposed to barely glued down) It will be hard to remove. You must have a smooth surface to do a great job. If the vinyl is smooth with no hight varations, it will take an overlay well. Uneven surfaces will bleed through. If you decide to remove the vinyl, you must clean the floor. If it ueven it will show through. You can buy coatings from Home Depot and Lowes to cover the floor before installing the overlay. Good luck with your project.
